Flow & Lay is the Phoenix, Arizona yoga mat brand that blends craftsmanship, comfort, and personalization. Flow & Lay creates high-quality, eco-friendly yoga mats designed to fit Every Body by offering superior comfort, grip, and style for all practitioners. We strive to stretch the boundaries of what yoga mats are and who they are for because yoga is for Every Body, and so are our mats.
Our founders have been passionate yoga practitioners for more than 10 years and are committed to making yoga more accessible to everyone. After experiencing the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga firsthand, they were inspired to share the practice with people who may have never seen themselves as yogis.
While completing their MBA at Arizona State University and earning their yoga teaching certifications, they noticed a common challenge in nearly every class. Many students were limited by the size of their yoga mats, preventing them from moving freely and confidently through their practice.
At the same time, the founders were on their own journey of finding their voice and embracing authenticity. That experience became the inspiration behind Flow & Lay. They wanted to create products that empower people to take up space, both on their yoga mats and in their everyday lives. We believe our wider yoga mats give practitioners the freedom to move without limitations while encouraging confidence, self expression, and a greater sense of belonging in the yoga community.
We are a brand new yoga mat business and our goal is to be able to bring yoga to those who do not have access to yoga or wellness spaces so that everyone can have the opportunity to experience the health benefits of yoga. We hope to use a portion of our profits to be able to provide yoga classes to those who need it most.
